Setting up Designations
Designations in Impexium include degrees and other accolades.
Tip: Your system can be configured to ask for a new user's designations during the signup process and to display their designations in the title of their Individual Record/My Profile page.
Example: Patrick has a master's in accounting and is also a certified public accountant. The designations he has earned are "MSA" and "CPA."
An individual's designations can be selected on their Individual Record > Account tab > Additional Info. However, the list of designations must first be created.
To set up the designation list:

Navigate to the Customers App > Setup.

Select the Designations menu option.

Click Add New Designation. The Add Designation form will appear.

Enter the Name of the designation (max 50 characters).

If you wish, record a Description.

If the designation should be automatically applied when a customer earns a certification, click the Certification Designation check box. The Associated Certification(s) list box will automatically appear, but this will remain blank until the designation is connected with a certification—this configuration is done on the Certification Record.
